Happen to be in town for business. Found Angelo's McFarland via Google and liked seeing all of the great reviews. Wanted to sit at the bar and order a carryout, but it was full. Sat at a table and checked out the atmosphere while my order was cooking. Tried their Cheese curds (...when in Wisconsin after all) and a two topping 12' Pizza. A lot of times I might toss a few slices out if I don't finish a pizza while staying at a hotel, but the 2 1/2 I had I used the empty cheese curds tray and saved them for breakfast.
Angelo’s in McFarland is a great Italian restaurant with many tasty dishes and beverages to choose from. An authentic place with a nice patio. Our server, Yareli & staff were very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Hamm’s is a 1.50 a can and always cold. Big fan of the pizza, but had the Pasta Louie. Came out to the bar steaming in my bowl. Great flavor, great service and cold Hamm’s Beer.
A great place to go for food and drinks. Large portions, great baked cod, expert bartenders and wait staff.
My husband and I went here on a random date. He sent me four different links of restaurants to try, and this one struck me instantly. It already had great reviews, so that was a plus. I'm glad I picked it. The restaurant itself is elegant looking, which made for a nice atmosphere overall. The food was delicious, and our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. My husband and I ordered the Bruschetta as our appetizer (as we usually do when the option is available), and it was extremely tasty at a very decent price! You give you complimentary bread and butter as well, which is always a bonus. We ordered pastas for our main meals. My husband ordered the "Baked Mostaccioli" and I ordered the "Chicken Pesto Pasta". Both were wonderfully prepped. All pastas come with your choice of soup or salad. I chose the soup, which had the perfect amount of flavor, in my opinion. I'm not sure if this is something they always do, but when we received our bill, the waitress had two hershey kisses placed with our bill. A cute little treat. We really enjoyed this restaurant. We will be going back again for our anniversary. It's a wonderful restaurant with great service, food and prices!
I used to eat at the old Angelo's in Monona years back. This is related, and the food, service and ambience is a page out of that one. Plus, at 1.50 for a Hamm's as the second beer, a real trip down memory lane. Eat here. You won't regret it!
Love the chicken alfredo family meal deal. Also got the shrimp scampi loved it. Family meal deal no longer offered. Food is still great, desserts were outstanding and drinks were just how I like them. Staff was friendly and helpful. We bring our out of state friends here to eat and have eaten here now back to back years on our anniversary.
Mondays special are calzones, and they are awesome. Where else other than Angelo's can you get a can of Ham's for only 1.50. Can't wait for the patio to open this summer! Thanks for the excellent dinner...
